I have tried Michael Orton’s Effect on many photos and found it usually give a nice soothing feel to the photo. It also works very nicely on Portraits. You judge and please give me your feedback.
In Elements: Open your image, Ctrl J, Ctrl J, Change Blend to SCREEN, Ctrl E, Ctrl J, give the top layer a significant Gaussian Blur, Change Blend to MULTIPLY, Ctrl E, CtrlE. Save with new name
That’s it – you have your Orton Effect
